Dangbei has launched the X5 Ultra 4K Laser Projector in China. The projector is priced at 9299 yuan ($1269). It combines cutting-edge tech and excellent design, establishing itself as a strong contender in the high-end projector market.

The Dangbei X5 Ultra features ALPD 5.0 super full-color laser technology, allowing users to switch between three light sources: full-color LED, hybrid light sources, and a pure tricolor laser. This versatility ensures exceptional color accuracy and richness for different types of content.
The Dangbei X5 Ultra offers outstanding projection quality, with 4K resolution, wide color gamut coverage (110% BT.2020 and 152% DCI-P3), 2500 CVIA lumens brightness, and support for rendering 1.07 billion colors. It also features HDR 10+ support and remarkable color accuracy (ΔE＜1), making it a projector in a class of its own for a vibrant and sharp viewing experience.
Internally, the projector houses a MediaTek MT9679 processor, paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. It offers seamless connectivity through Wi-Fi 6 and USB 3.0, along with Blu-ray 3D playback capability. Additionally, it features two 12W speakers for enhanced audio quality.
The smart projector boasts an elegant and durable design, featuring a 2mm thick alloy construction created through a one-time stamping process. Its sturdiness is complemented by a luxurious 2.5D curved glass top cover, enhancing its overall aesthetics.
The Dangbei X5 Ultra projector offers high-end features including MEMC global motion compensation, global auto-focus, and intelligent obstacle avoidance. It operates on the Dangbei OS, which is based on Android 11, providing users with gesture-controlled remote functions, split-screen projection, and instant power-on when plugged in.
The device features dual HDMI ports, USB 3.0 and 2.0, optical fiber, and an Ethernet port. It maintains a quiet operation at 24dB and has a power consumption of 260W.
