Onyx Boox has recently launched the Tab 10C Pro, a color E-Ink tablet in China, with prices starting at 4699 yuan ($642). This tablet is an upgraded version of the Tab10C, which was introduced in May 2023. The tablet is now up for its first sale in China. Let’s check out the specs of this E-Ink tablet.
Onyx BOOX Tab10C Pro Key Features:
The BOOX Tab10C Pro features a 10.3-inch Kaleido3 display with a high pixel density of 300ppi for black and white content and 150ppi for color. It includes a separate display chip to provide smoother app refresh rates, improving the overall user experience.
The tablet includes a unique 16-megapixel scanning camera with OCR recognition for easy text scanning and conversion. It also features the Pen2 stylus, known for its high-pressure sensitivity with 4096 gradations, magnetic attachment, and no need for charging.
The BOOX Tab10C Pro is a high-performance device, featuring a 7nm 8-core 2.8GHz Qualcomm processor with an AnTuTu benchmark score of 580,000. It comes with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, ensuring smooth task handling. Additionally, it is equipped with a 4600mAh battery for extended usage.
The Tab10C Pro promises an improved reading experience. Its next-generation Kaleido3 color E-Ink screen is designed to reduce blue light exposure, with a 60% reduction in Blue Light Ratio (BLR) and a 24% drop in Blue Light Damage Factor (BLTF). This focus on eye comfort is solidified with its TÜV Rheinland certification, recognizing its paper-like display quality.
Alongside Tab10C Pro, Onyx also launched the BOOX Note X3 E-Note tablet in China last week.
