Samsung has launched a new Galaxy A-series phone in India. The newest offering is the Galaxy A05s and it arrives as the successor to the Galaxy A04s with incremental upgrades. The Galaxy A05s has already debuted in various global markets. It is a budget offering under the Rs 15,000 segment. Read on to know more details about the smartphone below. 

Samsung Galaxy A05s specifications and features

The Samsung Galaxy A05s has an Infinity-U display measuring 6.7 inches and bearing an FHD+ resolution. It has a thick chin at the bottom. The smartphone features vertically stacked camera sensors on the back panel and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. The device comes with Dolby Atmos audio support. 

On the imaging front, the Samsung Galaxy A05s has a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP macro lens and a 2MP depth unit. Up front, there is a 13MP selfie snapper. 

Under the hood, the Samsung Galaxy A05s is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 processor. It packs 6GB RAM along with 6GB extended RAM feature. There is a 128GB internal storage with a dedicated microSD card slot for additional storage needs. The smartphone draws its power from a 5,000mAh battery unit with support for 25W fast charging. Software-wise, it runs on OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 along with two years of guaranteed future OS updates and four years of security patches. 

The Samsung Galaxy A05s is offered in Light Green, Light Violet, and Black colors. It is priced at Rs 14,999 with flat Rs 1,000 discount for SBI credit cardholders. The smartphone can be purchased from the brand’s official website in the country.
