BenQ, a renowned player in advanced display technology solutions, has unveiled its latest product the ScreenBar Halo, in India priced at Rs. 19,990 ($240). Touted as the quintessential desk accessory, this product promises a transformative workspace lighting experience.

ScreenBar Halo is a monitor light and it addresses the common problems of screen glare and eye discomfort often associated with traditional desk lamps. It uses asymmetrical lighting technology that effectively channels light onto the workspace, reducing screen glare by a notable 82%, compared to its counterparts. Moreover, its unique patented clamp allows a firm attachment to both flat and curved monitors, showcasing its intelligent, space-saving, anti-slip design.
The ScreenBar Halo is equipped with multiple ambient lighting modes tailored for varied situations. Its front light is ideal for concentrated work, whereas the backlight intensifies leisure and entertainment experiences. The device also features an intuitive wireless controller that facilitates easy customization of its lighting.
Furthermore, the adjustable color temperatures, ranging from a warm 2700K to a cool 6500K, cater to specific work and relaxation preferences. It also possesses an inbuilt light sensor to automatically adjust brightness in accordance with ambient light.
The lamp’s design ensures compatibility with both flat and curved monitors and maintains the American National Standards Institute’s (ANSI) 500 lux standards. It also features a patented optical design that focuses light solely on the desk, preventing any screen reflections. BenQ has recently introduced a new laser projector in China called the W6000L Laser Projector. This projector offers 4K resolution and is priced at 39,999 yuan, which is approximately $5,476 USD.
