Vivo is gearing up to launch its next generation of X series of flagship smartphones soon. The Vivo X100 model was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform, and now, the higher end X100 Pro model has also visited this website. So here’s what we know.
Vivo X100 Pro surfaces on 3C
Looking at the certification listing, the Vivo X100 Pro was spotted carrying the model number V2334A. Meanwhile, the base X100 model surfaced on 3C with the V2309A model number earlier this week. For those unaware, the 3C certification is a Chinese regulatory agency. So the sighting on this platform implies that its launch is just around the corner.
Furthermore, the Vivo X100 Pro can be seen with the V12060L0A0-CN / V12060LIH0-CN1 / V12060LIA0-CN / V12060LIH1-CN power adaptor in the 3C listing, similar to the X100. In other words, it will likely support the same fast charging rate of 120W. Based on earlier reports, the Pro model will apparently be powered by a large 5,400mAh battery pack. The flagship handset is expected to sport an OLED display that has a 2K resolution, while the vanilla X100 could feature a 1.5K OLED panel.
Under the hood, the Vivo X100 lineup may feature MediaTek’s cutting edge processor, the Dimensity 9300 SoC, which is expected to debut on 6th November 2023. The new premium grade series of smartphones are believed to launch in the third week of next month, so stick around for more updates regarding this matter.
