Vivo has launched a new budget-friendly smartphone in China, the Y33t, shortly after announcing the Y78t. Let’s take a look at its specifications and features.

Specifications

The Vivo Y33t has a straight-edge mid-frame design and weighs 186 grams. It features a 6.56-inch LCD display with a 60Hz refresh rate and a dewdrop notch on the front. The display is good enough for casual use, but the lack of a higher refresh rate is a bit disappointing.

Powering the device is a MediaTek G85 processor, which is a mid-range chipset that is capable of handling most day-to-day tasks. It is coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, which is a good amount for a budget-friendly smartphone. The device also supports 6GB of virtual memory expansion and boots on Android 13-based OriginOS 3.

Regarding optics, the Y33t sports a dual-rear camera system with a 13MP main sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies and video calls, you get an 8MP front-facing camera.

Likewise, fueling the device is a 5000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging. The device also features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Vivo Y33t Price and Availability

The device is priced at 749 yuan (approximately $110) and is available in two colors: Wild Green and Crystal Purple. It is available for purchase in China via JD.com.
