A Chinese leaker has claimed that the first quarter of 2024 may see the unveiling of three foldable phones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Regrettably, the leaker has not disclosed the specific names of these devices. Here, we can speculate on which foldable phones the source might be referring to.

Several reports have claimed that Vivo will be launching the Vivo X Fold 3 foldable phone in Q1 2024. The device will be joined by a more powerful variant dubbed the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro. However, it is unclear whether both devices will come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

A recent report revealed that Nubia is working on its first foldable phone called the Nubia Z60 Fold. It was spotted with model number NX801J in the IMEI database. It is speculated that the device could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

Honor introduced the Honor Magic V foldable phone in the first part of 2022 and followed up with the Honor Magic Vs in the second half of the same year. In the current year, the brand has presented two more foldable phones, the Magic V2 and Magic Vs 2. This suggests that Honor might become the third company to release a foldable phone, potentially called the Honor Magic V3, in the first quarter of 2024.
