Three New Foldable Vivo Smartphones to Launch in Q1 2024

According to a tipster on Weibo, the Chinese tech giant is planning on releasing three new foldable phones in the first quarter of next year. These new devices will launch around the same time as the flagship X100 Pro+ model, along with the X Fold 3, X Fold 3 Pro, and the X Flip 2. As of right now, rumors of the Vivo X100 series are already surfacing.

The X100 and X100 Pro are expected to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC, while the X100 Pro+ could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Just recently, the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro was spotted on the IMEI database with the V2337A model number. However, it is unclear what aspects will make the X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models different.

Apart from the top-end model, the company is rumored to launch the X Flip 2 in China around the same time. As the names suggests, the new foldable phones will be the successors to the older X Fold 2 lineup and the original X Flip smartphone. While the devices are confirmed to launch in China soon, it is unclear which models will make their way to the global market.
