After three years, DJI has finally released the Osmo Pocket 3, a new version of its popular pocket-sized gimbal camera. The new model features a number of upgrades, including a larger sensor, a rotating touchscreen, and improved intelligent features. So let’s talk about it in detail here.

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Launched Features Price

DJI Osmo Pocket 3 Specifications

The Osmo Pocket 3 now has a one-inch CMOS sensor, which is significantly larger than the sensor in the previous model.

This gives the camera better low-light performance and the ability to shoot in 4K resolution at 120fps. The camera also has 10-bit D-Log M and 10-bit HLG color modes, which give users more flexibility in post-production.

Another major change is the rotating touchscreen. The previous model had a fixed screen, which made it difficult to shoot in vertical orientation. The new 2-inch touchscreen can be rotated to horizontal or vertical orientation, making it easy to shoot for social media or other platforms.

DJI has also improved the intelligent features on the Osmo Pocket 3. ActiveTrack 6.0 now has face auto-detection and dynamic framing, which means the camera can keep your subject in frame even if they’re moving. There are also new features like Product Showcase, which is designed for live streaming, and Glamor Effects 2.0, which provides personalized beauty options.

The Osmo Pocket 3 also has a number of other improvements, including a triple microphone array for better audio recording, a digital zoom of up to 4x, and a panorama mode. The battery life has also been improved, with the camera now able to record for up to 116 minutes at 4K/60fps.
