Xiaomi’s new self-developed operating system, HyperOS, is coming to the Poco F5 and F5 Pro smartphones. This was confirmed by Xiaomiui which spotted the HyperOS test builds for the two devices.
According to the outlet, the HyperOS update for the Poco F5 will have firmware version OS1.0.0.1.UMRMIXM. Whereas, the Poco F5 Pro will receive the update with firmware versions OS1.0.0.3.UMNMIXM and OS1.0.0.3.UMNEUXM for the global and European versions, respectively.
HyperOS is a new operating system from Xiaomi that is designed to be more lightweight and performance-oriented than MIUI. It is also said to be more customizable and offer a more user-friendly interface while the OS also brings seamless cross-device collaboration between multiple devices. In related news, Xiaomi has officially announced the roadmap and initial list of devices that will receive the HyperOS update. The update will be rolled out to Xiaomi and Redmi devices in China first, followed by the first batch release of HyperOS for international devices starting in Q1 2024.
