iQOO recently confirmed that it will announce the iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro on Nov. 7 in China. The brand recently confirmed that the lineup will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and the Q1 dedicated display processor. Today, the brand released the following posters to confirm a few more details about the iQOO 12 series:

iQOO 12 series’ officially confirmed details

iQOO has revealed that the iQOO 12 series will offer up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. For a smoother gameplay experience, the lineup will feature the self-developed Q1 e-sports chip, enhancing the gaming experience with super-resolution and super-frame concurrency.

The iQOO 12 series will feature the largest ultra-wide vibration motor in iQOO’s history and symmetrical three-dimensional dual stereo speakers, enhancing the overall sensory experience and delivering immersive gaming audio. Additionally, the series supports Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless.

For heat dissipation, the iQOO 12 series will have a four-zone heat dissipation architecture complemented by an ultra-large area VC vapor chamber, which is 40 percent larger than the predecessor series. The iQOO 12 series will arrive with an IP68 rating, ensuring it can handle rain and submersion. Reports indicate that the iQOO 12 is rated IP64, while the iQOO 12 Pro boasts an IP68 rating. The Pro model is also confirmed to feature an E7 AMOLED display that offers a 2K resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate.

The iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will be the company’s first smartphones to come equipped with the Origin OS 4-based Android 14. As per reports, both will feature a 6.78-inch display that will offer a 144Hz refresh rate. However, the vanilla model will have a BOE-supplied flat screen with a 1.5K resolution and an optical in-screen fingerprint scanner. On the other hand, the iQOO 12 Pro will have a curved-edge E7 AMOLED Samsung screen offering a 2K resolution and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.
