Dell has just unveiled two cutting-edge smart UltraSharp monitors, the Dell U2724DE and Dell U2724D, aimed at users who are looking for a multi-purpose monitor that can be used for a workstation setup, and also for some casual gaming.

Dell U2723QE

Dell U2724DE and U2724D specs:

Both monitors are equipped with IPS Black panels, boasting a QHD resolution, a 2000:1 static contrast ratio, and impressive color space coverage, including 100% sRGB and 98% DCi-P3.

One of the standout features of these monitors is their up to 120Hz refresh rate, courtesy of Dynamic Refresh Rate technology. This technology automatically adapts the refresh rate based on your current tasks, promising a smoother experience while conserving power.

In addition to this, ambient light sensors have been integrated into these monitors to ensure that brightness and color temperature adjust to your surrounding environment, further enhancing the overall user experience.

The connectivity options for the Dell U2724DE model are extensive and include a LAN port, HDMI 2.0, DisplayPort 1.4, USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, and a versatile USB-C port. On the other hand, the Dell U2724D offers a more budget-friendly choice, omitting the Thunderbolt 4 ports, featuring a USB-C upstream port supporting 90W PD and DP Alt Mode, three Type-A ports, and no LAN port.

Both monitors come with ergonomic stands featuring cable management, allowing up to 150mm of height adjustment, pivot options, swivel, and tilt. They also include Picture-in-Picture and Picture-by-Picture modes, Multi-Monitor Sync (MMS) for seamless multi-monitor setups, and a sleek frameless design.

Price & availability

These smart monitors are set to hit the market on November 9, with the Dell U2724DE priced at $650, and the Dell U2724D retailing for $480.
