The iQOO 12 series is set to go official at 7 pm (local time) in China today (Nov. 7). Interestingly, ahead of the official launch, the phone’s pricing has emerged on JD.com. The listing also confirms its first sale date for the Chinese market.
iQOO 12 series price revealed
As can be seen in the above screenshot, the iQOO 12 series will start at a price of 4,299 Yuan (~$590) and will be available for purchase starting on Nov. 14. Reports have revealed that the base model of the iQOO 12 will offer 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage. Hence, the price shown above seems to belong to the iQOO 12’s 12GB+256GB variant.
This pricing revelation has sparked considerable interest among netizens. Some have expressed skepticism, suggesting that this price might be a diversion to conceal the actual cost of the new device. However, it appears that the price could be more or less correct, as the Xiaomi 14’s 12GB+256GB also carries the same price.
For those who are unaware, Vivo’s parent company, iQOO, is set to reveal the Vivo X100 series in China on Nov. 13. Vivo has already officially announced that the base model of the Vivo X100 will come with 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage and will be priced starting at 3,999 Yuan (~$550). To provide some context, the Xiaomi 14’s starting variant, which offers 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage, is priced similarly.
While the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro will come equipped with the Dimensity 9300 chipset, the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. What do you think about the price of the iQOO 12 series? Share with us your thoughts by posting your comments below.
