Xiaomi has launched the Smart Band 8 Active in Indonesia today, priced at Rp 299,000 ($19). The Smart Band 8 Active, launched in the Europen market last month, is essentially a rebranded Redmi Smart Band 2, featuring a rectangular design and advanced features. Let’s check out its key specs.

The Smart Band 8 Active features a 1.47-inch TFT display with a resolution of 172 x 320 pixels, a peak brightness of 450 nits, and a pixel density of 247 PPI delivering vivid and bright visuals. The band does not include GPS location data though.
The smart band offers extensive customization with over 100 watch faces to choose from. It features a 210mAh battery that can provide up to 14 days of standby time on a full charge and can be charged in less than 120 minutes using magnetic charging.
Additionally, it offers more than 50 sports modes for tracking various activities. It also features essential health monitoring capabilities, including a heart rate monitor, SpO2 tracker, sleep tracker, female health tracker, and stress level measurements, enabling users to monitor their health metrics comprehensively.
The Xiaomi Smart Band 8 Active requires users to install the Mi Fitness app on their smartphones to access its data. It is compatible with devices running Android 8.0 or iOS 12.0 and higher. The smart band is designed for durability and longevity, featuring 5ATM water resistance.
The smart band comes with an adjustable TPU strap available in five colors: Ivory, Olive, Blue, Black, and Pink. However, as of now, only the Black and Pink strap options are available for purchase.
