Xiaomi‘s Redmi Note 13 series, unveiled in its domestic market this September, has yet to reach global shores. However, a recent development suggests that the global launch is on the horizon, with the Redmi Note 13 5G making an appearance on Thailand’s NBTC certification database.

The global variant, identified by model number 2312DRAABG, has successfully cleared the NBTC certification, marking a significant step toward its worldwide debut. While the certification doesn’t reveal specific details about the device, expectations are that the global version of the Redmi Note 13 5G will closely mirror its Chinese counterpart in terms of specifications.

The Redmi Note 13 5G boasts a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 × 2400 pixels. It’s equipped with a high 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5, offering a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a 10-bit panel for vibrant visuals. Other notable features include a 3.5mm audio jack, an infrared sensor, and IP54 dust and splash resistance.

Powering this device is the MediaTek Dimensity 6080 SoC, complemented by the Mali G57 GPU. In terms of memory and storage, it provides options for 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage and accommodates a microSD card for expandable storage. Users can select from configurations with 6GB, 8GB, or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM to suit their needs. The software experience is based on MIUI 14, which is built on Android 13.

The camera setup includes a robust 100MP primary camera with an f/1.7 aperture, along with a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash for versatile photography. On the front, there’s a 16MP selfie camera to capture your moments.

The Redmi Note 13 5G features a sizable 5000mAh battery and supports 33W fast charging via a convenient USB Type-C port.

Earlier, the device was also spotted on IMDA, FCC & BIS certification websites hinting that the brand plans to launch it in the global market soon.
