Digital Chat Station claims that the upcoming Oppo Reno 11 series will debut ColorOS 14. In other words, the Reno 11 and the Reno 11 Pro will be the first devices to ship with ColorOS 14 out of the box.

The tipster further says that these phones will come with lossless compression technology. He also reiterates they will be powered by MediaTek Dimesnity 8200 and Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chipsets.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t mention whether the software will be based on Android 14. It is worth noting that multiple previous Reno phones have shipped with the latest ColorOS but the Android version remained a generation older.

Thus, we will have to wait until benchmarks to reveal the Android version. Perhaps, Oppo might itself disclose the details.

Oppo has been beta-testing ColorOS 14 on a lot of eligible devices for months. The company’s latest mobile software is scheduled to go official on November 16 at the Oppo Developer Conference.

As for the Oppo Reno 11 series, it could either launch on November 23 or at a later date. We are only a few hours away from knowing the official launch date.
