The Vivo X100 series has taken a significant leap forward on the sales chart. Released on the evening of November 13, the X100 series, comprising the X100 and X100 Pro models, has quickly captured the attention of consumers. It prompted the company’s vice president to share astounding news.

Vice President Announces 7.4x Surge in Sales Compared to its predecessor

The vice president of Vivo products revealed in the early hours of November 14 that the sales of the X100 series have surged by an astonishing 7.4 times when compared to the previous flagship, the Vivo X90 or X90 Pro. The overwhelming demand for the new models has even led the VP to humorously mention returning to the production line to personally oversee the creation of screws, highlighting the unexpected stock shortage and potential delays for eager consumers.

The X100 series boasts a robust upgrade, standing as the first to feature MediaTek’s AI-focused chip Dimensity 9300 and Vivo’s self-developed V3 imaging chip, coupled with the advanced OriginOS 4 operating system. Notably, the inclusion of a 7 billion parameter large language model on the terminal side and a 13 billion parameter model on the end side positions the Vivo X100 series as an AI powerhouse with exceptional intelligence capabilities.

In terms of battery life, the X100 and X100 Pro boast capacities of 5000mAh and 5400mAh, respectively, representing a notable improvement compared to the X90 and X90 Pro of the previous year, which featured capacities of 4810mAh and 4870mAh, respectively. While the X100 Pro maintains the 50W wireless flash charging, it sees a reduction in charging speed from the previous year’s 120W wired flash charging to 100W.

Anticipation for the X100 series is reaching a crescendo as the official sale date approaches on November 21. The standard version, with configurations ranging from 12GB+256GB to 16GB+1TB (LPDDR5T), is competitively priced between 3999 yuan ($548) and 5099 (699$) yuan. The Pro model, available in 12GB+256GB to 16GB+1TB (LPDDR5T), carries price tags from 4999 yuan ($686) to 5999 yuan ($823).
