India’s homegrown smartphone brand Lava recently made waves in the market with the launch of the Lava Agni 2 5G. The device received an overwhelming response, so much so that the brand was struggling to keep up with the demand. Now, it is said to be launching a new device in India called the Lava Agni 2S.
The new device is said to feature similar specifications as the Agni 2 5G, however, the processor is said to be a different one. Tipster Yogesh Brar also shared in the report that Lava will debut this new smartphone before the end of this year. This means that we can expect the Agni 2S smartphone to launch in India within the next couple of weeks. With the launch being so near, we expect the official teasers to start rolling in soon. Till then, here’s the spec sheet of the Agni 2 5G, which will be almost similar to the Agni 2S.
Lava Agni 2 5G specs
The Agni 2 5G features a 6.78-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and a 105% NTSC color gamut. Fueled by the MediaTek Dimensity 7050 processor, the device runs on Android 13.
Camera-wise, it features a 50MP quad-camera setup on the rear and a 16MP front camera. Connectivity options are abundant, including 5G support, in-display fingerprint sensing, and a 66W fast-charging battery via the USB-C port.
