The Polaroid I-2 flagship instant camera is now available in China. Back in September, the camera was unveiled to the international market. The Polaroid I-2 instant camera comes with LiDAR autofocus and has a three-element lens made of optical-grade polycarbonate and acrylic. Polaroid claims that the I-2 sports the sharpest-ever lens. The model was originally launched in the UK, EU, and the US with an equivalent price tag of $599.

The Polaroid I-2 instant camera comes with an ABS and aluminum alloy exterior and is compatible with SX-70, i-Type, and 600 instant photo films. The camera has an independent AMOLED display that can manually adjust some settings. The AMOLED display can be used to adjust the shutter speed, and aperture size, and change the camera mode.

The Polaroid I-2 instant camera uses LiDAR laser measurement distance that delivers a seemingly infinite focusing distance. This makes the camera more convenient to use for professional applications, as well as a fun gadget. The camera’s built-in flash has a range of 8ft.

The Polaroid I-2 camera supports Bluetooth connectivity has a battery life of 80 photos and can be paired with its companion Polaroid app to remotely control the camera. It has filter threads, a 2.5mm interface for an external flash, and USB-C connectivity.

Price in China

The Polaroid I-2 is priced in China for 5,299 yuan (~$730). It is expected that the Polaroid I-2 will have a decent reception in China on the back of a successful run since it was released in September.
