The impressive statistics revealed during the conference showcase Xiaomi’s progress in the IoT landscape. The company also revealed that its IoT platform Vela, is going open source.

With an astonishing 655 million connected devices on the Xiaomi IoT platform, and over 13 million people using five or more Xiaomi IoT devices, the company has solidified its position as one of the key players in the IoT industry.
