OPPO is gearing up to launch the Reno 11 series smartphones and the OPPO Pad Air 2 on November 23. The former will arrive as the successor to the Reno 10 series whereas the latter is expected to debut as the follow-up to the last year’s Pad Air. Now, ahead of the next week’s launch, the brand has shared teasers on its official Weibo handle revealing some key details of the upcoming tablet.

OPPO Pad Air 2 display details teased

The OPPO Pad Air 2 is confirmed to feature a 2.4K display resolution. It is said to filter 60 percent of harmful blue light and reduce hazards by more than half compared to ordinary LCDs. The tablet will also intelligently adjust color temperature for reducing the suppression of melatonin ensuring eye protection and comfortable sleep.

The new teasers do not reveal any additional details about the OPPO Pad Air 2. However, it appears that the upcoming offering is a rebranded version of the OnePlus Pad Go that was announced last month in India. If this is indeed true, then we can expect the OPPO Pad Air 2 to come with a dual-tone back panel design housing and 8MP front and rear cameras. It will be powered by a Helio G99 SoC under the hood coupled with up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The OnePlus Pad Go is backed by a 8,000mAh battery unit with support for 33W fast charging. It is offered in WiFi and 4G LTE options.

The OPPO Pad Air 2 is already up for pre-orders in China.
