A Vivo phone with the model number V2317A was recently approved by the TENAA authority in China. The listing revealed the complete specifications of the phone, along with its images. It has finally been officially released under the name Vivo Y12. Here’s a look at what’s in store for buyers of the Y12.

The Vivo Y12 4G features a 6.56-inch LCD waterdrop-notch display that offers an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1612 pixels. Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chip, accompanied by 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM. The device offers ample storage with 128 GB of eMMC 5.1 storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
In terms of imaging capabilities, the Vivo Y12 features a dual-camera setup on the rear, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, along with an LED flash, complemented by an 8MP front camera for capturing detailed selfies. Security features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock.
The Vivo Y12 4G is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery, supporting 15W charging via a USB-C port. Additionally, it retains the convenience of a 3.5mm audio jack. It runs on Origin OS 3, based on Android 13. The device’s dimensions measure 163.74 x 75.43 x 8.09mm, weighing 186 grams.
