Last year in December, Redmi unveiled three models, such as the Redmi K60e, the Redmi K60, and the Redmi K60 Pro. These devices came equipped with the Dimensity 8200-Ultra, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipsets, respectively.

The K60 series will be replaced by three models, such as the Redmi K70e, the Redmi K70, and the Redmi K70 Pro. These devices will feature the Dimensity 8300-Ultra, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively.

The entire specifications of the K70e are already known, but the details of the K70 and K70 Pro are still not clear. The Redmi K70e is expected to feature a 6.67-inch OLED 1.5K resolution display that offers a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, a 5,500mAh battery with 90W charging, a 64-megapixel (main, with OIS) + 8-megapixel (ultra-wide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera unit, a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, and a plastic frame.

The Redmi K70 and K70 Pro are expected to feature same-sized 120Hz OLED panels with higher 2K resolution support. Both models are expected to feature a 50-megapixel OmniVision camera with OIS support, a metallic frame, and 120W fast charging support. The K70 may pack a 5,000mAh battery, while the Pro edition could be equipped with a 5,120mAh battery. The entire lineup will run on Android 14 and HyperOS.

The Redmi K70 series is unlikely to be released in the global market. Instead, some of these devices may get rebranded as the Poco F6 series models in the global market. Likely, the F6 and F6 Pro that are expected to debut in Q1 2024 could be rebadged versions of the K70e and K70, respectively.
