HTC has quietly launched a new version of its 65W Gallium Nitride charger in China. It features two USB Type-C interfaces and one USB Type-A interface, enabling simultaneous charging of up to three devices. Let’s learn more about it in detail here. 

HTC 65W Gallium Nitride (GaN) Charger Overview

HTC’s new 65W GaN charger is available in black and white and features a foldable pin mechanism for convenient portability. 

It boasts two USB Type-C and one USB Type-A port for charging multiple devices simultaneously. The dual USB Type-C ports can deliver a combined power output of 45W and 20W, while all three ports together can output 45W, 7.5W, and 7.5W simultaneously.

Specifically, the Type-C port offers five different charging voltages: 55V/3A (15W), 9V/3A (27W), 12V/3A (36W), 15V/3A (45W), and 20V/3.25A (65W).

Meanwhile, the USB Type-A interface offers six levels: 4.5V/5A (22.5W), 5V/4.5A (22.5W), 9V/3A (27W), 12V/3A (36W), 15V/3A (45W), and 20V/3A (60W), ensuring compatibility with a wide range of devices.

Moreover, the charger boasts compatibility with a wide range of charging protocols, including PD3.0, PD2.0, PPS, QC3.0, QC2.0, ACF, SCP, and MTK. 

Measuring 68 x 41 x 31mm and weighing only 116.23 grams, the charger is compact and lightweight, making it easy to carry and store.
