iQOO recently debuted the iQOO 12 series flagship smartphones in China. The vanilla iQOO 12 is headed to India, scheduled to launch on December 12. Ahead of the launch, the brand has teased some interesting details about the Indian variant of the iQOO 12.

As per a recent post on X (Twitter), iQOO 12 will be launching in India with Funtouch OS 14, which will be based on Android 14. Other than the Pixel 8 series, no other devices in India have launched with Android 14 in India till now. The teaser also confirms that both the Alpha Edition(Black) and Legend Edition(White) colors will be making their way to India.

The iQOO 12 boasts a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display, showcasing a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. In terms of photography, the iQOO 12 features a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 50MP main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Selfies are captured through a 16MP front camera.

Under the hood, it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, complemented by iQOO’s proprietary e-sports chip Q1 and the Adreno 750 GPU. Operating on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 custom user interface, the device offers various storage configurations, including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 120W, ensuring efficient and speedy replenishment of the device’s power reserves.
