After launching the iQOO 12 series in China earlier this month, the brand now plans to bring the vanilla variant over to India. The official Indian launch date of the iQOO is set for December 12. Ahead of the launch, the brand has started the specs and features of the iQOO 12 Indian variant.

iQOO has confirmed that the Indian variant of the iQOO 12 will come with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip. The SoC will be paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage. In addition to that, the smartphone will also feature Vivo’s self-developed SuperComputing Chip Q1. This chip is engineered to optimize the performance of the phone while gaming, ensuring smooth gameplay up to 144 Hz (at 1080P).

The iQOO 12 showcases a 6.78-inch Flat AMOLED display, boasting a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and an impressive 144Hz refresh rate. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, accompanied by iQOO’s proprietary e-sports chip Q1 and the Adreno 750 GPU. Running on the Android 14-based OriginOS 4 custom user interface, the device offers multiple storage configurations, including 12GB RAM with 256GB storage, 16GB RAM with 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage.

In the camera department, the iQOO 12 features a triple rear camera setup, consisting of a 50MP main camera, a 64MP periscope telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Selfies are captured through a 16MP front camera. Powering the device is a robust 5,000mAh battery with support for fast charging up to 120W.
