In August, Indian smartphone manufacturer Lava launched its most affordable smartphone, the Lava Yuva 2. The device is equipped with a 5,000mAh battery and is powered by a T606 processor. According to recent posts on X (formerly known as Twitter), the brand has confirmed that the device will receive the latest security update.

Lava’s post states that the update includes the November 2023 patch with numerous bug fixes, however, the brand has not mentioned any details about the said bugs. The primary objective of this patch is to enhance the overall stability of the device and address security vulnerabilities found in the previous update. The latest November security patch gets rid of vulnerabilities affecting the Framework, Media Framework, System, and parts like the kernel and processor-based components. Owners of the Yuva 2 wishing to update to the latest version can navigate to Settings > System > Advance > System Update.
