Honor is reportedly working on the Honor Magic 6 series of smartphones. It is likely that the lineup will have at least four models, such as the Magic 6, Magic 6 Pro, and Magic 6 Ultimate. Rumors are rife that the Magic 6 lineup will debut in January 2024. Ahead of the expected launch, the vanilla model has received approval from the 3C authority in China.

Honor Magic 6 3C certified

According to reports, the upcoming Honor Magic 6 has the “Bvlgari” codename. While the BVL-AN00 is said to be associated with the Magic 6, the Pro / Ultimate models are said to have the BVL-AN16 and BVL-AN20 model numbers. As can be seen in the screenshot below, the Magic 6 device has bagged the 3C certification.

The certification reveals that the Magic 6 will ship with an HN-110600C00 / HW-110600C02 power brick that supports up to 66W fast charging. To recall, the Magic 5, Magic 5 Pro, and Magic 5 Ultimate came with support for 66W charging. The Pro and Ultimate models offer 50W wireless charging. It remains to be seen whether the Magic 6 Pro and Magic 6 Ultimate continue to offer the same wired and wireless charging capabilities as their predecessors.

Rumors are rife that the Magic 6 series will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. It is speculated that the Magic 6 lineup will be equipped with a one-inch OmniVision OV50K primary camera. With this camera, it is expected to rival the likes of the OPPO Find X7 Pro, the Vivo X100 Pro+ (or Ultra), and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra, which are expected to feature the one-inch LYT-900 Sony camera sensor. The Magic 6 is also expected to feature a centrally positioned pill-shaped cutout on the screen and support satellite communication.
