After unveiling the iQOO 12 series consisting of the standard iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro in China, it is now heading for foreign shores around the globe. The smartphone is first set to hit shelves in India on December 12. Following the global variant listings on multiple public certifications, including Malaysia’s SIRIM and others, the smartphone has appeared on the Bluetooth SIG.

The listing confirms the upcoming global launch and sheds some light on the presence of Bluetooth 5.4. However, most of the specifications of the device are already live, and the certifications are merely a confirmation of the upcoming global launch.

iQOO Specifications

The smartphone is launched with a 6.78-inch LTPO OLED display while having 144 HZ refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. The display offers 2160PWM DC dimming and 3000 nits of peak brightness. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC powers it, and Android 14 is pre-installed. It would be the first smartphone in India to launch with in-box Android 14.

Further, it will have a triple-rear camera sensor with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x Zoom. There’s a 16MP sensor on the front for selfies.

It is available in 12/16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256/512GB/1TB UFS 4.0 storage options. The smartphone seems to bundle a 5000 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support, while the Pro version will launch with a 5100 mAh battery with 50W wireless charging.

The smartphone is launched in three color options: Burning Way, Legend Edition, and Track Version. It would be interesting to see the pricing details for India, as it launched at a starting price of 3,999 yuan in China, which roughly translates to Rs 45,000.
