A couple of days back, the Vivo Y100i went up for pre-order in China. Now, the brand has officially launched the device in its domestic market with all of the pricing and specification details.

The Vivo Y100i boasts a 6.64-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with a resolution of 2388 × 1080 pixels, offering vibrant visuals with 100% P3 and 96% NTSC color gamut coverage. The smartphone incorporates a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for convenient and secure unlocking. In the camera department, it features a 50MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture and LED flash, accompanied by a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there’s an 8MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture.

Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-Core MediaTek Dimensity 6020 7nm processor, featuring Dual 2.2GHz Cortex-A76 and Hexa 2GHz Cortex-A55 CPUs, along with a Mali-G57 MC2 GPU. The device is equipped with a substantial 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and offers generous storage capacity with 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Software-wise, the Y100i comes with an Android 13-based OriginOS 3.

The Vivo Y100i supports dual SIM functionality (nano + nano + microSD) with connectivity options including 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5Ghz), Bluetooth 5.1, and GPS/GLONASS/QZSS. It is powered by a robust 5000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging. In terms of dimensions, the device measures 164.06 x 76.17 x 7.98mm (Black) / 8.07 mm (Blue and Pink) and weighs 190g.

Pricing & availability

Priced at 1599 yuan (~$225), the vivo Y100i comes in Pink, Blue, and Black colors. The smartphone is available for purchase in China.
