LG Electronics has listed the 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor on its official website in Germany. The listing of the monitor indicates its launch may be imminent. The LG 34WQ500-B is compatible with AMD Freesync and can be used as a gaming monitor.

The LG 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor has a 34-inch full HD IPS display with a 21:9 aspect ratio. It is noted that the model has already gone on sale in the US since it was announced last year. The UltraWide Monitor supports VESA DisplayHDR 400 with a typical brightness of 400 cd/sq.meter. The contrast ratio of the monitor is 1,000:1 with a 99% coverage of the sRGB color gamut. The monitor offers a wide 178º viewing angle and a screen resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. It is up to a third (33%) wider than a standard FHD screen.

The LG 34WQ500-B Monitor has a 1ms Motion Blur Reduction (MBR) which delivers a smoother image. However, when AMD Freesync is enabled, MBR cannot be used. The monitor has a GtG response time of 5ms and a display refresh rate of 100Hz. In terms of sound, the LG UltraWide Monitor has two in-built 7W stereo speakers with MaxxAudio. The monitor has a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. It also has an HDMI IN port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

Apart from its listing and some of its specs, LG has not provided the release optics for the 34WQ500-B Monitor in Germany. The price of the model has also not been released. In the US, the LG 34WQ500-B UltraWide Monitor is priced at $329.99 and the European price could be marginally different from this. The model could also find its way to other EU markets apart from Germany.
