Earlier today, OnePlus took the wraps off of its latest number series flagship in China. The OnePlus 12 arrives as the successor to the last year’s OnePlus 11. It packs significant upgrades compared to its predecessor. As usual, the smartphone will make its way to the global markets. The brand has now subtly revealed the launch timeline of the OnePlus 12 outside China. The exact launch date of the flagship device had leaked previously
OnePlus 12 global launch timeline confirmed
OnePlus officially confirmed that the latest generation flagship OnePlus 12 will arrive early in 2024. The company did not reveal the exact launch date. However, the global marketing campaign material which was accidentally leaked previously hints to a January 23 launch date.
Alongside the launch timeline of the OnePlus 12, the brand also added that the flagship smartphone will be accompanied by other devices in the global market. These are expected to be none other than the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus Buds 3, and the OnePlus Watch. All three devices have surfaced in the leaked renders. The OnePlus 12R is a rebadged version of the China-limited OnePlus Ace 3. The mid-range offering could also be released in the global markets.
Earlier this year, the OnePlus 11 was announced alongside a host of other devices including the OnePlus 11R, OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, OnePlus Pad, and more.
As for the OnePlus 12, it has the same design as its predecessor. Notable upgrades include a BOE-supplied curved OLED display with 4,500 nits peak brightness, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a periscope lens, up to 24GB RAM and 1TB storage, and a 5,400mAh battery with 50W wireless charging.
