Xiaomi launched the Redmi Pad in October last year. It was offered in three RAM and storage configurations and arrived as a budget tablet in the Rs 15,000 – 20,000 price segment. Now a year after the launch, the Xiaomi sub-brand has quietly slashed the prices of the Redmi Pad. The revised prices are reflected on the brand’s official website and Flipkart. Additionally, there is also a bank offer that can reduce the purchase price of the tablet. Read on to know all the details.

The Redmi Pad is available in 3GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB RAM and storage options. These were priced at Rs 14,999, Rs 17,999, and Rs 19,999 respectively. The base option has received a price cut of Rs 1,000 whereas the 4GB and 6GB RAM variants are now cheaper by Rs 3,000 and Rs 2,000 respectively. This means that the 3GB 4GB, and 6GB RAM models now cost Rs 13,999, Rs 14,999, and Rs 16,999 respectively. 

Additionally, Xiaomi is also offering a Rs 1,000 instant discount on the base model on HDFC Bank credit card and EMI and ICICI net banking transactions. This means that the variant can be purchased at Rs 12,999. On the 4GB and 6GB options, there is a Rs 1,500 instant discount which will bring down the price to Rs 13,499 and Rs 15,499 respectively. The bank offer is valid till December 31.

Interested buyers can also exchange their old smartphone while purchasing the Redmi Pad. 

As for the core specifications, the Redmi Pad has a 10.6-inch 2K display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 400 nits peak brightness. It features 8MP front and rear cameras. The tablet is equipped with quad speakers with Dolby Atmos. The Redmi Pad is powered by a Helio G99 SoC and is backed by an 8,000mAh battery unit with support for 18W charging.
