Following the competition from ChatGPT, Google is not stopping by to amalgamate AI into its products and services. In an exciting development, just after the launch of ChatGPT 4’s competitor, Gemini, Google is set to introduce a new feature for Google Chrome that will allow users to create personalized browser themes using generative Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Steps to “Create Theme with AI”

The feature allows users to select theme subjects, like landscapes, food, or something else, and then the user needs to fine-tune the theme with style, mood, and color options. It is a significant step in browser customization and promises to elevate the browsing experience to new heights.

These changes by Google Chrome demonstrate AI’s growing role in digital life. By leveraging the power of generative AI, Google Chrome is not only enhancing the user experience but also showcasing the potential of AI in creating unique, personalized digital aesthetics. Currently, we are unable to use this feature, as it is part of Canary Build.

The feature is currently available in the Canary build and will port to the Beta build before rolling out for the stable version. In actuality, it may take a few months before the general public can experience this innovative feature. Another such feature, “Help Me Write” is in the works and will soon be part of the Google Chrome stable build.

Google keeps bringing new features and several bug fixes for Google Chrome. Recently, the browser received the ability to see Memory consumption for each tab. The new WebGPU on Chrome enhances Chrome’s Performance, Security, and AI. For the Android version, a major scrolling issue fix is on the way, and Android 14 users can enjoy the new experience. Several other changes are part of regular Google Chrome Browser updates that you can look at here in detail.
