Lava has officially launched the Yuva 3 Pro smartphone in India today as scheduled. The budget smartphone is the successor of Yuva 2 Pro from earlier this year.

The latest model not only comes with a revamped design but also upgraded specs. Despite major changes, it only gets a ₹1,000 price hike compared to its predecessor.

The Lava Yuva 3 Pro sports a flat frame design and a glass back. It has vertically aligned dual cameras on the rear above a platform that resembles the one found on the Galaxy S22.

The device flaunts a 6.5-inch punch-hole display. This LCD panel offers an HD+ resolution (1600 x 720 pixels), 269 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate.

It is powered by a Unisoc T616 chip paired with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 storage. As for software, it boots Android 13 and is guaranteed to receive 2 years of security updates.

There’s a 50MP camera on the back accompanied by an unspecified secondary sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP snapper.

For biometrics, the handset uses a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It arrives with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, and a USB Type-C port. Wireless connectivity options include dual SIM, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, and GNSS.

Last but not least, the phone is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.

The Lava Yuva 3 Pro comes in a single 8GB + 128GB memory configuration priced at only ₹8,999 (~$110). It can be availed in either Desert Gold, Forest Viridian, or Meadow Purple color options.

The device is up for pre-order starting today (December 14) via Lava e-store and offline stores.
