Honor has finally confirmed the launch of the Honor 90 GT, a performance-focused affordable flagship phone. The device is all set to go official at 7pm (local time) on Dec. 21 in China. While there is no official confirmation, there are speculations about the potential debut of other devices like the Honor X50 GT and the Honor Tablet 9 alongside the Honor 90 GT.

The official poster of the Honor 90 GT discloses a flat OLED punch-hole display on the front and features flat edges. The back panel, adorned in a blue hue, showcases a black-colored camera island that accommodates two cameras, an LED flash, and a GT logo. The device seems to be equipped with a side-facing fingerprint sensor. Here is a look at the leaked specifications of the device.

According to a Weibo post by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, the Honor 90 GT’s OLED panel offers a 1.5K resolution and 3840Hz PWM dimming. There is no information about the front camera of the device, but the rear camera setup is said to feature an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main camera.

Under the hood, the Honor 90 GT has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and it will arrive with support for 100W charging. The device is tipped to arrive in multiple configurations, such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 16 GB RAM + 512 GB storage, and 24 GB RAM + 1 TB storage.

As can be seen above, the Honor 90 GT will arrive in three shades, such as gold, black, and blue. In the Chinese market, the device is expected to rival the likes of the Redmi K70 and upcoming phones, such as the iQOO Neo 9 and the OnePlus Ace 3.
