Realme Narzo 60 5G users in India now have a chance to get into the Realme UI 5.0 x Android 14 early access program as the second round of testing has begun.
Realme UI 5.0 Early Access 2: What’s new
The update addresses critical aspects like security and privacy measures. Notably, improvements in photo and video-related permission management aim to provide a more secure app access experience. Performance optimizations include increased system stability, faster app launches, and smoother animations.
Aesthetic changes accompany the update, introducing a natural, gentle, and clearer color style for improved visual comfort. Users will notice additions to the ringtone selection and revamped system notification sounds, along with overall smoother system animations.
Despite these improvements, users should be aware of potential issues. For instance, a minor glitch may affect desktop sliding when using floating windows. Additionally, the Glance Lock-screen feature is not available in this edition.
How to apply:
For users eager to try Android 14 ahead of the official rollout, the Early Access program opens on November 15, 2023.
Before initiating the update, users should ensure their realme Narzo 60 5G has a battery level of 60% or higher, is not rooted, and has adequate storage space. Backing up personal data is recommended, and updating all applications from the Play Store can help mitigate potential compatibility concerns. Your smartphone should also be on version RMX3750_13.1.0.506(EX01) | RMX3750_13.1.0.507(EX01) before you apply for the program.
To apply, navigate to Settings → About device → Click on the “realme UI 4.0” banner at the top → Click on the three dots in the top right corner → Beta program →Early Access →Apply Now → Submit your details and finish the apply.
Realme has limited seats for the Early Access 2 test, so it is advised that you apply as soon as possible. After submitting all the needed information, you will receive the Realme UI 4.0 update with version number RMX3750_14.0.0.88(SP01EX01).
