On Dec. 21, Honor will unveil the Honor 90 GT and the Honor Pad 9 tablet in China. After the launch of these devices, the company is expected to shift its focus to the Magic 6 series of flagship phones. There is a possibility that it may debut in the second week of January 2024. A new leak that has emerged on Weibo has leaked the entire specifications of the standard Magic 6 model. Honor Magic 6 specifications (rumored)

With improvements in departments such as display, performance, battery life, and photography, the source claims that the Honor Magic 6 will be a comprehensive upgrade as compared to the Honor Magic 5 Pro.

It is speculated that the Honor Magic 6 will have a quad-curved OLED panel that offers a 3840Hz PWM dimming. In addition, it is expected to come equipped with the Oasis eye-protection feature, which is said to be better than the eye-protection on Magic 5 Pro. For better drop resistance, the Magic 6’s display is said to be protected by Honor’s Jurhino display protection glass.

Under the hood, the Magic 6 will feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and a 5,800mAh Qinghai Lake battery that supports 66W fast charging. A recent report claimed that the Magic 6 will support wireless charging. The device will be equipped with a dedicated security chip, a radio frequency enhancement chip C1, and is also said to support satellite communication.

The rear camera setup of the Magic 6 will comprise a 50-megapixel main camera with support for variable aperture and OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It is expected to run on Magic 8.0-based Android 14. In addition, the Magic 6 is said to have an IP68-rated dustproof and water-resistant chassis.
