POCO India is set to unveil the POCO M6 5G on December 22. Following closely on the heels of the budget-friendly POCO C65, this device is the latest addition to the M6 series, and POCO is dropping hints about its price.
In a teaser shared on the POCO Community, the company suggests that the POCO M6 5G will come in at under Rs 10,000 in India. The teaser image hints at Rs 9,4XX, possibly reflecting the effective cost of the base variant when factoring in bank offers. If this holds true, the POCO M6 5G is poised to be one of the most budget-friendly 5G-enabled smartphones in the Indian market.
Earlier, the brand has teased that the device will feature a 50MP primary shooter. Leaked information from tipster Kacper Skrzypek suggests that the M6 5G could be a rebranded Redmi 13C 5G. POCO has also confirmed the presence of the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. Here’s a quick overview of the expected specifications.
POCO M6 5G specs:
The POCO M6 5G is expected to feature a 6.74-inch LCD display, offering HD+ resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It will feature a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC with an integrated Mali G57 GPU. The chipset will likely be accompanied by 4GB, 6GB, or 8GB LPDDR4X RAM options along with 128GB and 256GB storage along with a dedicated microSD card slot for expandability.
The device will likely debut with MIUI 14 based on Android 13, and a large 5000mAh battery, complemented by 18W fast charging through the USB Type-C port. Lastly, it will likely feature a 50MP primary rear shooter and a 5MP selfie camera.
