The POCO M6 5G‘s India launch is just around the corner. It is set to be announced in the region on 22nd December 2023 at 12 PM IST. But ahead of the launch, the upcoming budget smartphone was teased by the company showcasing its storage option.
POCO M6 5G Storage Teaser
The Chinese smartphone maker shared a teaser image poster on X (formerly Twitter). Looking at the image, the brand teased that the device will feature up to 256GB of internal storage. Under the hood, it is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. The brand also teased its pricing, which will start from just under 10,000 INR (roughly 120US Dollars). Since the base model will start from 9,4XX INR, we can assume the 256GB variant will go for over 10,000K INR.
Based on what we know so far, the affordable handset sports a tall 6.74-inch HD+ display that offers 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits of peak brightness, 90Hz refresh rate, and 180Hz touch sampling rate. A large 5,000mAh battery pack will power this device, which supports 18W fast charging. It is expected to offer 4GB, 6GB, and 8GB of RAM along with 128GB and 256GB of internal storage. Storage can be further expanded via a dedicated microSD card slot.
On the rear, the POCO M6 5G will feature a 50-megapixel dual camera setup, while the front houses a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. Other notable features include an Android 13 OS based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. This model is rumored to be a rebranded Redmi 13C 5G, which was recently released in the region as well.
