Motorola has discreetly unveiled the Moto G34 5G smartphone in China. The sub-1,000 Yuan (~$140) device offers a 120Hz display, Snapdragon 6-series chipset, 50-megapixel camera, and the latest Android experience. Recent reports have revealed that the G34 will also be released in Europe in the coming days. Here is a look at what’s in store for G34 buyers in China.

Starting from the front, the Moto G34 5G has a flat display with a punch-hole design on the front. The 6.5-inch LCD display offers an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. For audiophiles, the device comes equipped with Dolby Atmos-tuned dual stereo speakers.

Under the hood, it runs on a Snapdragon 695 processor, supported by 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 8GB of virtual RAM for efficient multitasking. The device is equipped with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage and a microSD card slot for additional storage. The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that supports 18W charging via a USB-C port.

In terms of photography, the Moto G34 5G is equipped with a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel main sensor and a 2MP macro lens. The device runs on Android 14 with MYUI 6.0 and comes with a side-facing fingerprint sensor for added security. Its sleek design measures 162.7 x 74.6 x 7.99mm and weighs 179 grams.

As for the pricing, the sole 8GB+128GB variant of the Moto G34 5G, is priced at 999 (~$140), approximately Rs 11,950 or $140, in China. The device is available in two color options: Star Black and Sea Blue. As per a recent report, the 4GB+128GB variant of the G34 will be available for 189 euros in the European market.
