In January of this year, Letv launched the Letv S1 Pro smartphone with an iPhone 14 Pro-like design in the Chinese market. Now, the brand has launched the Letv S2 Pro as its successor edition in China. Well, it does not look like the recent iPhone 15 series to begin with. However, it has an interesting leather-like finish on the back. Some of its key highlights include an HD+ display, a MediaTek chip, a large battery, and a 13-megapixel triple camera unit.
Letv S2 Pro specifications and features
The Letv S2 Pro showcases a front design characterized by a corner punch-hole display. The intriguing rear panel of the device is equipped with a crocodile leather-textured material. A distinct camera module surrounded by a gold finish adds to its distinctive appearance.
The Letv S2 Pro has a 6.5-inch LCD panel that offers an HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is equipped with the 12nm MediaTek MT8788 chipset, which was announced in 2018. The SoC is complemented by 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of built-in storage, and a 4,900mAh battery. There is no information about the fast charging capabilities of the device.
The S2 Pro comes with Le OS-based Android (the exact version is not known). For photography, it has a 5-megapixel front camera and a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel + 0.3-megapixel triple camera system on the back. For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The device measures 166.16 x 76.96 x 10.6mm and weighs around 204 grams.
Letv S2 Pro price
The Letv S2 Pro is priced at 999 Yuan (~$140) in China. With the brand having no presence in the global market, the said device is unlikely to be released in markets outside of China.
