iQOO is all set to launch its Neo 9 series of smartphones in the Chinese market on December 27th, and they’re not coming alone – the company is also introducing the new iQOO Watch and iQOO TWS 1e earbuds.

iQOO Watch Teaser

For the past two weeks, iQOO has been teasing us with gradual reveals of specifications and official images of these upcoming products, including the iQOO Watch. The latest teaser shows us a complete front view of the iQOO Watch, giving us a good look at its overall design. They’re also letting us in on the various strap options the watch will come with, including silicone, leather, and woven straps. We can expect these straps to come in a range of colors to cater to different tastes.

iQOO Watch Specifications (Rumored)

Coming to the specs, the smartwatch will feature a 3D curved glass dial with always-on display (AOD) feature. The watch showcases various watch faces, including an outer space-themed design, a classic watch appearance, and a sporty watch face.

The watch is exceptionally lightweight at only 36 grams, ensuring user comfort. Additionally, its watchband design allows for effortless installation and automatic dial matching. The watch also features a crown that supports both rotation and button presses for intuitive navigation.

Functionality-wise, the watch will offer dual-mode functionality with support for both eSIM and Bluetooth connectivity. In eSIM mode, it provides up to 7 days of battery life, which extends to an impressive 16 days in Bluetooth mode. The inclusion of eSIM technology allows for independent communication capabilities, enhancing its practicality.

Internally, the watch is powered by Vivo’s proprietary BlueOS operating system. It also incorporates advanced health monitoring capabilities, including an 8-channel heart rate sensor and a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor, catering to health-conscious users.

Considering that the iQOO Watch draws inspiration from the Vivo Watch 3, it’s reasonable to use the Vivo Watch 3 as a reference point when speculating about its pricing. The Bluetooth version of the Vivo Watch 3 is priced at 1099 Yuan ($154), while the eSIM version goes for 1299 Yuan ($182). This suggests that iQOO might be aiming for a competitive pricing strategy with the iQOO Watch.
