Following a couple of stable updates this month, the OnePlus 9RT is finally receiving the OxygenOS 14 stable update. In the morning, the smartphone received a minor bug fix update in a second firmware update for this month. Well, the stable OxygenOS 14 stable udapte is currently rolling out to the closed beta and open beta participants. The broader rollout will take place after a few days for normal users.

The firmware version MT2111_14.0.0.211 (EX01) is rolling out to the OnePlus 9RT India variants. It will be made available in the coming days for other regions. However, details about the size are not yet available. However, the size will vary depending on whether you are a beta user or a normal user.

OxygenOS 14 Features

There are plenty of new features and enhancements that the OxygenOS 14 stable update packs. It also brings Android 14 luxuries, which ensure data privacy and security. Below is the official update changelog:

 • Adds Fluid Cloud, a way of interaction with morphing forms that allows you to view up-to-date information at a glance.

Smart efficiency

 • Adds File Dock, where you can drag and drop to transfer content between apps and devices.
 • Adds Content Extraction, a feature that can recognize and extract text and images from the screen with one tap.

Cross-device connectivity

 • Improves Shelf by adding more widget recommendations. 

Security and privacy

 • Improves photo and video-related permission management for safer access by apps. 

Performance optimization

 • Improves system stability, the launch speed of apps, and the smoothness of animations

Aquamorphic Design

 • Upgrades Aquamorphic Design with a natural, gentle, and clearer color style for a more comfortable color experience.
 • Adds Aquamorphic-themed ringtones and revamps the system notification sounds.
 • Improves system animations by making them even smoother. 

User Care

 • Adds a carbon tracking AOD that visualizes the carbon emissions you avoid by walking instead of driving. 

The users update their OnePlus 9RT smartphone to the latest firmware: MT2111_13.1.0.595 (EX01) or MT2111_13.1.0.592 (EX01) to receive the stable OxygenOS 14 update. To manually check the update, users can head over to Settings > About device > tap up to date > tap icon on the top right > check for updates.

However, most of the issues are mostly rectified in the stable build, but the user can still file for bugs if they are found. They can dial *#800# on Google Dialer or post on the OnePlus Community to easily provide feedback.

The OnePlus 9RT received a December 2023 update earlier this month, and today it received a minor bug fix update on OxygenOS 13. Meanwhile, the device already received OxygenOS 14 Open Beta 2 last month.
