Tecno Pop 8 to Launch in India on January 3

Earlier this month, the company teased the announcement of the upcoming Pop 8 in India. The latest teaser now shares the official launch date of the device. It will be unveiled in the region on 3rd January 2024. Apart from this, the brand recently confirmed a bunch of key specs regarding this device. This includes its design, display, color options, and more.

Just recently, the AnTuTu score of the Tecno Pop 8 was leaked. This new smartphone managed to score over 240,000 on the popular benchmarking platform. Now, the microsite for the Pop 8 has gone live on Amazon, confirming the availability in the region. On the e-commerce platform, Tecno claims that the handset will be the fastest 8GB model in this segment. Based on what we know so far, the 8GB memory includes 4GB of physical RAM and 4GB of virtual RAM expansion. It also comes with 64GB of internal storage.

For those unaware, the Tecno Pop 8 is equipped with the UNISOC T606 SoC and is powered by a massive 5,000mAh battery pack that supports standard 10W charging. On the front, the smartphone features a 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD panel that offers HD+ resolution and 8-megapixel selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the rear features a 13-megapixel dual camera with an LED flash.
