A new Vivo phone has surfaced on China’s 3C certification website. While the phone’s official name remains under wraps, its model number (V2314DA) suggests a connection to the recently launched iQOO Z8 (V2314A).

The key takeaway is the charging speed for the V2314DA. The listing mentions support for 120W fast charging, matching the Z8’s impressive capability. This hints at a potential variant or addition to the existing Z8 series.

For a quick refresher, the iQOO Z8, released in August 2023, boasts a 6.64-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth visuals.

It’s powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. A VC cooling chamber ensures efficient heat management during intense gaming sessions.

The phone packs a 5,000mAh battery that can be refueled in a flash thanks to the 120W fast charging technology. On the software side, it runs on OriginOS 3 based on Android 13.

Moving to cameras, the iQOO Z8 sports a dual-camera setup on the back. The main sensor is a 64MP unit with optical image stabilization, while there’s a 2MP depth unit. For selfies, you get a 16MP camera tucked away in the punch-hole cutout. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and a USB-C port.

Vivo has a packed pipeline for China, with rumored devices like the X100 Pro+, X Fold 3 family, X Flip 2, and Vivo Pad 3 all waiting in the wings.

Rumors of the Vivo X100s have also surfaced. It might differentiate itself from the X100 with a flat-screen and possibly slower charging, rumored to be either 80W or 120W, compared to the X100’s 120W.
