AYA Neo has introduced the AYA Neo Flip, a new handheld gaming PC with a clamshell design. The device features a 7-inch 1080p IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for gaming. Users can choose between two Ryzen 7 processors and integrated Radeon 780M graphics for their preferred performance. The AYA Neo Flip comes in two models: the Neo Flip KB and the Neo Flip DS, each offering different features to cater to user preferences.

The KB version includes a thumb-typing keyboard, emphasizing its gaming-first approach, while the DS variant boasts a secondary 3.5-inch screen nestled between the controls. This additional display is not just a gimmick; it’s a versatile tool that can serve as a game or app launcher, a performance tracker, or even a dedicated space for chat windows or other auxiliary content, enhancing the gaming experience without cluttering the main screen.

The company has been teasing these models for some time, with an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign set to launch soon. While the full specifications are yet to be revealed, the glimpses offered show a device rich in features, including dual analog sticks, a D-Pad, action buttons, and possibly even an optical touch sensor or fingerprint reader.

Users can add a personal touch to their device with replaceable grip panels, offering a customizable experience. The dual-screen model’s potential is especially intriguing, as it has the capability to recreate the Nintendo DS experience through emulation. Pricing and availability details are yet to be disclosed by the brand, with further information set to be revealed soon via Indiegogo.
