OnePlus is gearing up to launch the OnePlus Ace 3 in China on January 4, 2024, with a press conference scheduled for 2:30 PM (Beijing time). The company is actively promoting the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 on Weibo, unveiling numerous specifications through their campaign. A recent teaser suggests that there may be more exciting details yet to be disclosed about this highly anticipated smartphone.

As per the teaser, the OnePlus Ace 3 will feature an ultra-thin in-display fingerprint scanner and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection. The device will run on the ColorOS custom skin and is set to receive three major Android OS updates for four years.

Additionally, the smartphone will come equipped with a super linear stereo dual speaker unit and support Dolby Atmos audio technology, ensuring high-quality sound. For location services, it will offer L1 and L5 dual frequency GPS for enhanced accuracy and include the B1I + B1C + B2a three-band Beidou system.

Earlier today, the company released another teaser that reveals the smartphone will feature a 360° antenna for enhanced signal stability, particularly beneficial for gamers. It will also support WiFi 7 for faster speeds and reduced latency, along with a Game Cloud Computing Private Network offering a 2-year free trial.

Additionally, the OnePlus Ace 3 will come with a multidirectional NFC, allowing users to use it from various angles. Other teased features include a ProXDR panel with Photo Matrix Display Technology, a “rain touch” display for use with wet hands, and the launch of various limited edition accessories.

Under the hood, it may feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, up to 16GB of RAM, and 1TB of storage. The smartphone is expected to boast a 5500 mAh battery with 100W fast charging support. In the global market, it may be rebranded as the OnePlus 12R. Color options include Sand Gold, Star Black, and Moon Sea Blue.
