iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones are officially on sale in China starting today, following a successful pre-order period that saw demand exceed first-day sales of the Neo 8 series by 200%.

The base iQOO Neo 9 starts at CNY 2,299 (~$321) for the 12GB + 256GB configuration. Users seeking additional storage or RAM can choose from configurations ranging up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage, with the top-tier option priced at CNY 3,199 (~$447).

The iQOO Neo 9 Pro carries a starting price of CNY 2,999 (~$419) for the 12GB + 256GB variant. Power users can opt for the 12GB + 512GB model at CNY 3,299 (~$461), or the higher-end 16GB RAM configurations with 512GB or 1TB storage, priced at CNY 3,599 (~$503) and CNY 3,999 (~$559) respectively. Both devices come in four color options: Red, White Soul, Nautical Blue, and Fighting Black.

iQOO Neo 9 series specifications

Both boast a large 6.78-inch 1.5K OLED display with a smooth 144Hz refresh rate and HDR10+ support. They also pack powerful processors: the Neo 9 with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and the Neo 9 Pro with Dimensity 9300, both paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage.

There’s a robust 6K VC cooling system that keeps things cool during intense gaming sessions, while the 5,160mAh battery with 120W fast charging fuels your activities.

On the imaging front, the devices come with a 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera with OIS, assisted by an 8MP ultra-wide lens on the Neo 9 and a 50MP ultra-wide on the Pro. Both have an 8MP lens for the selfie camera.
