Xiaomi has announced its third home security camera for the Indian market. Dubbed the Xiaomi 360 Home Security Camera 2K, it sits between existing offerings, such as the Home Security Camera 1080p 2i priced at Rs 2,999 and the Home Security Camera 2K Pro, which costs Rs 3,799. Here is a look at the specifications, features, and price of the newly unveiled 2K variant:

The Xiaomi 360 Home Security Camera 2K is equipped with a 3-megapixel camera sensor with an f/1.6 aperture. It is capable of recording FHD video at 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution and 2K videos at 2304 x 1296 pixels resolution. Since it supports 360-degree video recording and offers features like 360-degree and 108-degree viewing angles, there are no blind spots.
The 360 Home Security Camera 2K supports a wide dynamic range for enhanced clarity in underexposed and overexposed scenarios. While it supports human tracking, it also comes with AI human detection for filtering false alarms. Even in low light, the camera is capable of capturing colored footage. At night, it can activate IR lights, illuminating the surroundings for effective night vision.
The new security camera can be used to monitor multiple devices, such as a smartphone, tablet, laptop, or desktop. supports two-way video calling and supports up to 256 GB of microSD card. With the screw-in base accessories, it can be mounted invertedly from a ceiling or securely positioned on a wall, offering flexible installation options to suit various surveillance needs.
